ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation will host two public meetings, one in Milan and another in Princeton, to discuss upcoming bridge deck replacement projects in Mercer, Putnam and Sullivan Counties on Tuesday, July 29.
The first project includes bridge deck replacements on Mercer County Routes E and JJ, Sullivan County Route OO and Putnam County Route FF. Information about this project will be available at both meetings. The second project includes the Mercer County U.S. Route 136 bridge over the Grand River Overflow in Princeton. Information for this project will be available during the meeting in Princeton.
Tuesday, July 29:
North Central Missouri Electric Cooperative (1098 Hwy E, Milan, MO 63556).
Noon – 1:30 p.m.
Bridges to be discussed:
Mercer County Route E bridge over West Medicine Creek.
Mercer County Route JJ bridge over Honey Creek.
Sullivan County Route OO bridge over Locust Creek.
Putnam County Route FF bridge over Shoal Creek.
Princeton High School (1008 E Coleman St, Princeton, MO 64673).
3:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Mercer County U.S. Route 136 bridge over the Grand River Overflow in Princeton.

The meetings will allow the public to share their thoughts and concerns about the design for the bridge projects and to provide comments, either directly to the engineers or through a comment form. No formal presentation will be made. Attendees are welcome to come any time between the listed times.
If you are unable to attend the open-house meetings, two other opportunities for public comment are available through Tuesday, August 12.
