PORT IMPROVEMENT for AGRIServices of Brunswick


Separate sealed bids will be received by AGRIServices of Brunswick (ASB) at 40135 US-24, De Witt,
MO 64639 until 10:00 A.M. Central Daylight Time on October 8, 2026. Label envelopes Attn:
AGRIServices of Brunswick, MO Facility Port Improvement. Proposals will be publicly opened and
read aloud at that time. Virtual link provided for the bid opening located in Information to Bidders.


The project will generally include the following:
The construction of a new 200-foot cargo dock.


All equipment, materials and workmanship must be in accordance with the drawings and
specifications in the office of PND Engineers, Inc. Drawings, specifications and other contract

A non-refundable deposit of $80 and mailing costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. Neither owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda (if any) obtained from sources other than the issuing office.


A virtual pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. CST.

Any explanation or interpretation made will be in the form of a written response by
email or Addendum issued by the Consulting Engineer and furnished to all Bidders
identified as plan holders of record. No answers will be provided after September 30,
2026.


Stamped plans will be provided after contractor selection.


Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided
in the Information for Bidders.


Attention of bidders is particularly important called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to
be observed and Davis Bacon and/or State Prevailing Wage Rates to be paid under the contract. Wage
rates are set forth in the contract documents and are to be considered as part of this Bid.
Attention of bidders is called to the requirements contained in the Instruction to Bidders regarding
compliance with “Exhibits to MARAD Grant Agreements” located in the bid package. Liquidated
damages apply.


This project is financed through a grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation Maritime
Administration awarded to Green Hills Regional Planning Commission on behalf of ASB. Construction
shall follow the requirements of the Build America, Buy America Act, requirements located in Exhibits.
The Recipient, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat.
252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will
affirmatively ensure that for any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement,
disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in
response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or
national origin in consideration for an award.
