Background
Green Hills Regional Planning Commission (GHRPC) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive website development services to replace its primary website ghrpc.org. The goal is to create a modern, accessible, and user-friendly platform that communicates the agency’s mission, programs, and impact while meeting ADA compliance standards.
Proposal
1.2 Goals
•
Develop a mobile-optimized, ADA-compliant website following WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.
•
Streamline user experience to help audiences easily find relevant information.
•
Integrate dynamic storytelling, data dashboards, and program information.
•
Ensure scalability and long-term maintainability with a flexible CMS.
•
Provide training and documentation to internal teams for effective management.
1.3 Project Details
The selected vendor will collaborate with GHRPC’s executive team to design, develop, and launch a website.
The project will involve:

Conducting stakeholder discovery sessions to understand user needs.
•
Creating clear navigation for diverse audiences such as residents, businesses, and government officials.
•
Building integration with CRM systems, live chat, and booking tools.
•
Developing interactive maps, data dashboards, and a searchable repository of public reports.
•
Migrating content from the existing site and implementing robust SEO practices.
•
Providing post-launch maintenance and ongoing technical support for three years.
