| 25 | 26 | 27 | 28Thompson Watershed PlanThompson Watershed PlanTime: 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Green Hills Regional Planning Commission hosts a public meeting for Thompson Watershed Plan TRENTON, MO – The Green Hills Regional Planning Commission invites community members, landowners, and stakeholders who live in Harrison, Mercer, Grundy, Daviess or Livingston Counties to attend a public meeting for the Thompson Watershed Plan. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 6:30 PM at the GHRPC offices located at 810 Washington Street, Trenton, MO 64683. The purpose of this meeting is to gather community input and discuss strategies for the development and implementation of the Thompson Watershed Plan. The commission encourages anyone interested in participating, sharing insights, or contributing to the future of the watershed's resource management and conservation efforts to attend. Public input is vital to creating a comprehensive plan that reflects the needs and goals of the local community. Attendees will have the opportunity to review current data, ask questions, and collaborate with planning officials. GHRPC was awarded a Missouri DNR Section 319 Nonpoint Source Subgrant to develop a 9-element watershed-based plan for the Thompson River Watershed. Missouri DNR is writing the watershed plan, and GHRPC staff are facilitating stakeholder engagement and outreach.
